That's right everyone! We are official! I decided that we needed to step it up a bit! Slowly but surely, The-OCA will be changing for the better! New additions, journals, and contests are coming! Stay tuned cause all your OC's are gonna be so pleased with their new home!

A club dedicated to the design and development of original characters!

Do you enjoy creating original characters?
Do you find yourself naming your drawings and thinking of where they are from and what they are like?
Do you create manga or comic strips for you characters?

If you answered 'Yes' to any of these questions, then The-OCA is the club for you!

Basic Rules:
*Write a note stating you'd like to join! Give link(s) to your charactor(s) you would like submitted to the gallery!^^(must join with a link)
*Post club icon in your journal
*Try to be active in the club(ie. posting work, feedback, try to fav other members work, ect.)

GUIDELINES (please read first)
1.You much have at least one original charactor that you wanna develope in some way.(ie. name, origin, personality, or even wish to develope a story/manga on them)
or
Design a number of Charctors.(ie. your drawings often have a life and story of their own.)

2.You must want to use this club as a reference/support for your charactors. Whether you ask for or provide feedback for others wanting to develope charactors. You can provide feedback on the original deviations. If you have questions/statements that you would like the other members to see or help you out with, note us and it will be posted in the journal!^^

3.You can come into the club with established charactors or the beginings of charactors.(so long as the first sketches are nice to look at and there is a name or other info started already)

4.You can post: Charactor sketches(deviation quality^^), Charactor Bios, Finished works, Stories, Manga/Comic pages, and How-To Guides(if you wanna help others)
(there is no limit to submissions, again, so long as they are something you want other people to see. If you need help with a deviation, make sure you let us know so it will be posted in your comment)

5.Stories must be posted with a drawing.(unless they are based on a previous drawing submitted to the club. then you will tell us which one and we will combine the two)

**IMPORTANT**
For all submissions, PLEASE put the name and/or description of your character along with the link to your drawing. This way I know what to put when submitting your work to the gallery. Remember, this is a club for the development of characters, so posting only drawings is kinda silly^^
